Scott Fitzgerald`s story collection TALES OF THE JAZZ AGE, first published in 1922, contains some of his most celebrated short pieces, including Winter Dreams, The Diamond as Big as the Ritz (a story Fitzgerald said was designed utterly for my own amusement ), The Jelly Bean, and May Day (which in his introduction he called a somewhat unpleasant tale ).
